Using Admode

Connect Admode to your AI app, sign in, and ask for ads or research. This page covers setup in each app, what to ask, what each tool does, and what to do when something goes wrong.

Before you start

  • An Admode plan. It comes with a Skool membership: see pricing.
  • An AI app that supports connectors (also called MCP servers), such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Grok.
  • Your own image and video tools for rendering. Admode writes and checks prompts; it never renders, and your AI renders only after you say yes.

Connect Admode

Admode’s address is the same in every app:

https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp

Admode is tested in Claude, ChatGPT and Grok. The other apps below follow the same MCP standard; if something doesn’t work in yours, tell us.

Claude

In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, click Add and choose Add custom connector. Name it Admode AI, paste the address and click Add. Click Connect and sign in to Admode once. Then turn Admode AI on in a chat and ask for ads.

Claude Code

Signed in with the same Claude account, Claude Code has Admode AI too: type /mcp to see it. Signed in with an API key instead? Run this once, then sign in from /mcp:

claude mcp add --transport http admode https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, open Plugins in the sidebar, click Add and choose Create MCP App. No Create MCP App? Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT’s settings. Name it Admode AI, paste the address, tick the box and click Create. Click Continue to Admode AI and sign in once. In a chat, pick Admode AI from the + menu and ask for ads.

Codex

Codex keeps its own list. Run these once in your terminal; the Codex app and IDE extension then have it too:

codex mcp add admode --url https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp
codex mcp login admode

Grok

In Grok, open Plugins in the sidebar, click New Connector and choose Custom. Name it Admode AI, paste the address and click Add Connector. Sign in to Admode once. In a chat, type @Admode AI and what you want to make. In Grok Build:

grok mcp add --transport http admode https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp

Cursor

Add Admode in Cursor Settings → MCP, or in ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then choose Connect to sign in:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "admode": { "url": "https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp" }
  }
}

VS Code with GitHub Copilot

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, or add this to .vscode/mcp.json. Start the server, and sign in when VS Code asks:

{
  "servers": {
    "admode": { "type": "http", "url": "https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp" }
  }
}

Gemini

In the Gemini app on the web, open Settings → Connected apps → Add a custom app and paste the address. Google offers custom apps to people 18 and over in the US, with a personal Google account, in English. In Antigravity, add Admode to mcp_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "admode": { "serverUrl": "https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp" }
  }
}

Windsurf

Add Admode to Windsurf’s mcp_config.json, then sign in when Windsurf asks:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "admode": { "serverUrl": "https://admode-mcp-test.up.railway.app/mcp" }
  }
}

Other apps

In your app, add a connector or MCP server. If it asks what kind, choose remote or HTTP. Name it Admode AI, paste the address, and sign in to Admode once when it asks. Then ask for ads.

Sign in

When your app asks you to sign in, use the email you signed up with: the one on your Admode plan, or the one you use on Skool. You can sign in with Google or with a code we email you. Your app keeps you signed in.

Admode checks your plan on every request, so a change counts within minutes, and a plan that ends stops Admode in every app. The dashboard uses the same sign-in.

What to ask

Talk to your AI as you normally would. A few ways to start:

Load my brand from Admode.
Make me 5 static ads for our best seller with Admode.
Make 3 UGC video ads with Admode.
Make VOC research for our best seller with Admode.
Write ad copy for this ad with Admode.

Ads are built from your VOC research and Brand DNA. If you don’t have them yet, your AI offers to make them first.

How a job works

Ads

  1. Your AI loads your brand from Admode, then starts the job and asks you what it needs to know.
  2. It picks a proven format for each ad from your research and Brand DNA, and loads that format’s proven ads.
  3. For each ad it writes three full prompts, each with its own hook, and ranks them. Admode picks the strongest.
  4. Your AI makes the winner as good as the proven ads, and Admode checks it, up to three times per ad.
  5. You see every winning prompt. Your AI renders only the ones you agree to, with your own tools.

Research

Your AI researches and writes each section of your VOC research, Foundation Pack or Brand DNA. Admode checks every section against its template and saves it to your brand, where you can read and edit it in the dashboard.

Videos and images

On Pro and Agency, keep your footage in Admode for editing: screen recordings, product videos and screenshots. Say “Upload videos or images to Admode” and an upload window opens in the chat, or upload them on the Media page of the dashboard. Your AI then looks at each file and saves what it shows: for a video, a clip map with every scene’s seconds, so an edit can take just the part it needs. In Claude Code or Codex your AI opens the files itself; in a chat app, you can write it on the Media page.

Saving

On Pro and Agency, Admode keeps what you ask it to. Tell your AI to remember what you like or don’t like, a rule or an offer, or to save your work to carry on in another chat, and it saves it to your brand. Your AI may offer to save something; it saves only once you say yes.

The tools

Your AI picks the tools; you never call them yourself. “Your data” says what each tool does to what Admode keeps for you. Tools marked Pro and Agency need one of those plans.

Limits

  • Up to 20 ads per job.
  • 60 checks a minute and 1,000 a day for each account, and 1,000 research sections a day.
  • Brands: 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro and 10 on Agency.
  • Videos and images: 25 GB on Pro and 100 GB on Agency, up to 2 GB a video and 50 MB an image.

Your data

Admode keeps your brands, products, photos, research and preferences, and on Pro and Agency what your AI saves (memory, ads, saved work and Meta ads) and the videos and images you upload. Prompts sent for checking aren’t stored.

See and change all of it in the dashboard. Settings → Download everything gives you one file with all of it, and Delete everything removes it. The privacy policy has the details.

Troubleshooting

“No active Admode plan for …”

You signed in with an email that has no plan. Disconnect Admode in your app, connect again, and sign in with the email of your plan or your Skool membership. No plan yet? See pricing.

“Admode couldn’t check your membership just now”

Try again in a minute.

Admode’s tools don’t show up

Check that Admode is connected and turned on for the chat (in Claude, under the tools button). In ChatGPT, Developer mode has to be on. Starting a new chat often helps.

Your AI says a check is down

Admode’s checks are briefly unavailable. Your AI tells you instead of skipping the check; try again a little later.

Still stuck

Write to support@admode.ai with the app you use, what you asked and roughly when.

Disconnect

Remove Admode in your app’s connector settings. Your brands stay in Admode until you delete them in the dashboard, or until your plan has been over for 30 days: then they’re deleted.
